Dhaka city dwellers always try to get better solution to beat the giant traffic. This time Uber has declared to launch bike riding service for the city dwellers.

Car ride through mobile apps is a very new trend to us. Though people need time to be adopted with newer system or environment, still Uber is successful to run their business in full swing from the beginning. Everyone appreciate Uber as a pioneer car ride service provider with fantastic user module.

This time Uber has declared to launch bike riding service for the city dwellers. Dhaka city dwellers always try to get better solution to beat the giant traffic. Keeping this concept in mind Uber has come up with the bike-sharing service naming Uber Moto.

The company will announce the launching of UberMOTO this week. It has already registered several thousand motorcycles. Last year when Uber launched, they got overwhelming response from both of commuters and drivers. They have already received the best appreciation from riders point of view. The service holders who need to maintain office timing, get average traffic speed of 7km per hour. So, bike has become the go-to transport option according to them.

So, motorcycles are the most preferred and cost-effective transportation mode in a traffic-congested city like Dhaka. According to a statistic of BRTA, in the last year almost 40% motorcycles have been sold out only because of heavy traffic jam.

Moreover, in February this year, the global ride-sharing company launched motorbike service in different provinces of India like Hyderabad city and in Bengaluru city in the following month. Uber is also conducting ‘Motorcycle taxi service’ in Bangkok from February next year.

The first motorcycle ride sharing apps of Bangladesh is ‘Sam’ followed by Pathao, Amar Ride and few others. These apps are very popular among city dwellers. So, Uber Moto will add an extra milestone for its attractive user module. They are hopeful that commuters and drivers will equally benefit from this service. We expect a modern and reliable community service from Uber Moto just like UberX or UberPREMIER.
